Every pizzeria listed on NearMe Pizza goes through the same basic verification steps before it appears in a city directory, whether it was added by the restaurant itself or suggested by a diner.

Step one: confirming the business exists

We confirm a physical address, a working phone number, and current operating status before publishing any listing. Restaurants that have closed or relocated are flagged for removal or update as soon as we're notified.

Step two: verifying dietary and feature tags

Tags like Gluten-free, Vegan options and Late night are confirmed directly with the restaurant rather than inferred from a menu alone, since a menu can list an item without the kitchen actually preparing it the way the tag implies.

Step three: keeping hours current

Restaurant owners can update their own hours directly through a claimed listing. Unclaimed listings are periodically checked against publicly available hours, though we recommend calling ahead for any restaurant showing an “unclaimed” badge.

For restaurant owners: how to get listed or claim a listing

Owners can submit a new listing or claim an existing one through the Add Your Pizzeria page, which asks for basic business details, hours, and any dietary or feature tags that apply. Most submissions are reviewed and published within a few business days.
